A long time ago, I got to know a little 88 year old lady, originally from rural Alabama. She was smart as a whip, and so funny with so many sayings. I said I didn't think I'd be a good parent. She said in her charming accent, "Your chilren would be spoilt faster than a ripe peach on a hot day." I never knew if that was a good thing or a bad thing. I did okay.

Hes so sweet, I cant fathom how anyone could abandon or hurt him like that. There are so many shelters and rescues around and with his attitude he'd be adopted in a heartbeat, but unfortunately i think he might have been used as a bait dog and injured that way, then abandoned to prevent being caught. Theres some real scummy dirtbags out there.

My sister-in-law has the biggest heart when it comes to dogs. She loves pitty-mixes so when a rescue found her current dog she didn't hesitate to take him in. He'd been badly abused and was terrified of people when she adopted him. With love and encouragement, he is a sweet loving dog that no longer lives in fear. Amazing what love can do.
